Parent Seminar 02/2018 – Maharishi Child Safe and Code of Conduct Policies for Parents and Parent Volunteers

Monday 23rd April at 9.45am – presented by Steve Charisis (Principal)

Synopsis: Maharishi School has a firm commitment to the values and standards that embed a culture of child safety. Strategies that seek to prevent harm and neglect (including physical, sexual, emotional, neglect, racial and cultural or religious abuse) all contribute to a child safe culture. It is therefore critical that child safety is part of the everyday thinking and practice of all within our school community.

It is important that parents attend if:

  • There is an intention of volunteering onsite at the school
  • You will volunteer to attend school excursions or
  • You would simply like to become better-informed about your obligations under our school’s Child Safe and Parent/Guardian/Carer Code of Conduct Policies.

Please confirm your attendance by contacting the School Office by this Friday.
